Man Ure vs Arsenal 16th February 2008 - FA Cup 5th rd - Old Trafford Outwardly I don’t have much confidence but internally I think we can sneak a win today. Actually, a draw wouldn't be a bad result either as I fancy us to beat anyone at the emirates. The traffic on the m40 was heavy which made me think up a joke: Q. How do you know that Manchester Utd are playing at home? A. There's a traffic jam on the m25! I will be sitting next to a Man Ute fan today who I mistakenly arranged a ticket for. He's a typical Man Utd supporter too. E.g. From Brighton! I think it's true what they say about Brighton folk too...nice boyz. After a bit of dicking around at Junction 16 of the M6 motorway, which included taking a wrong junction on a roundabout, going to the wrong service station and visiting a petrol station in an area so rough I had to “buzz” at the door to be let in to pay, I finally met my cockney Man Utd supporting friend and I gave him his tickets before continuing my journey. At 3pm I turned up at Old Trafford, which is more than The Arsenal team did. |
