So Adebayor has finally joined Manchester City.... £25million is an amazing deal for a player that has had one good season is his whole career and personally I'm not too upset to see the back of him.

We should try to forget about the numerous times he failed to show up in matches, the laziness, lack of commitment, poor first touches, off-sides and the spanner foot and instead remember some of the great goals he scored for us, including an excellent record of scoring against the Yids. Good Luck Ade.

We would like to send our best wishes to former gooner John Hartson who is currently in critical condition in hospital with cancer.

John made 71 appearances (55 starts, 16 as sub) for the Arsenal between 1995-1997 after joining us from Luton Town. He signed for West Ham United in 1997 and was there top scorer when he was sold to Wimbledon (my second team) for a club record £7.5million in January 1999.

There were also appearances for Coventry City before winning the treble with Celtic 2001/02 and later joined
West Brom for £500,000 in July 2006 where he finished his playing career.

There's only one Arsene Wenger!!!!

After a brilliant result at Portsmouth we endured the disappointing three minutes at the Emirates on Tuesday the spelt the end of our Champions League campaign (and with 4 place in the league guaranteed, our season too). At least the week finished off on a high with Chelsea getting knocked out too!

More good news is that Theo Walcott has signed a new long term deal and Arsene is going to be offered a new deal too!!!

If we could win our final three matches (Chelsea (H), Man Ure (A) & Stoke (H)) then that would put us in good place for next season where our squad will be fully fit and hopefully containing a couple of new additions.

According to reports in the media today Stan Kronke has purchased some additional Arsenal shares at an over inflated prices taking his percentage up to 28.3 (at 30% he has to make an offer for the remaining shares).

What does this mean for the future? Who knows. But what I do know that even with £100 million available Arsene still wouldn't but a centre half or a defencive central midfielder!

Champions League Semi-Final 1st Leg

Another poor performance on Wednesday at Old Trafford. You can handle being beaten if you have at least tried your best but I think a few of the players need to take a look at themselves.

Adebayor must go after that (non) display. He's a disgrace.

We played like the England team, only passing sideways and backwards. We were very static all over the pitch with no one moving into space or wanting the ball.

The only good thing about the match is we only lost by one goal because it was men against boys out there. Well done to Alumunia for great keeping and Gibbs for some great defending.

AFC Wimbledon - Champions!

AFC Wimbledon have secured their place in the Blue Square Premier division next season after being promoted from the Blue Square South league as Champions.

There final match of the season was a 3-0 home victory against St Albans watched by 4500 fans. Well done Dons, the march continues....

FA Cup Semi-Final

After getting off to such as great start with Theo's goal it was disappointing to see how the side's heads went down after the Chelsea equaliser and from that point on I felt that there was only going to be one winner.

Drogba scores the same goal against every match. A hoof from Lampard and then uses his brute force to push away our defenders, although Silverstre made it easy for him by giving up rather than making a challenge.

It was our first visit to the new wembley but the result was exactly the same as our last trip to Cardiff as as my friend put it after the game, getting beaten by Chelsea and their aggressive and cheating tactics really does leave a bad taste.

We'll be routing for Everton in the Final.

They stream a lot of Premier League footy and other sports and there weren't any of the usual dickheads in the chats SO CHECK THEM OUT!!

Current Situation

What an important couple of games we have this week. Blackburn at Home "should" be straight forward enough, well on paper at least but who knows which Arsenal side will turn up today. The high scoring or wasteful side. We must win this to keep the pressure on Villa who play the Yids tomorrow. Hmm do I want Villa or Tottenham to lose the most? If Spurs win then I think they will be safe in the League but I guess I should put Arsenal in front of my hatred for Spurs! As much as I'd love them to get relegated it is more important that we get into the Champions League next season.

Then on Tuesday we have a massive game in the FA Cup against Hull. Again this is easy on paper but Hull will be no pushover and with a place at Wembley at stake they will be even more determined. It's important that we get to Wembley too (even if it's only a Semi Final) because its been a while since we have had a "big day out" and hopefully it will stop those wankers from booing so much at the home matches.

From herein the old cliche, "every match is a Cup Final" has started to ring true.

FA Cup 4th Round

Cardiff City 0 vs 0 Arsenal

A game of two halves saw the best and worst of Arsenal. We were very much second best in the first 45 minutes and were luck not have been behind at the interval.

We played much better in the second period and dominated possession but were unable to find the breakthrough goal. Bendtner missed a couple of chances and Adebayor had probably the best chance of the match but he failed to connect with the ball (it bounced off his calf).

A late City free-kick hit the post and draw was probably a fair result.

The replay at Emirates is on Tuesday 3rd February at 7.45pm.
